| The aquatic director is the person responsible for everything that occurs in aquatics in a particular organization. The facility could be one year-round indoor pool, or multiple indoor and seasonal outdoor facilities. |

• Enrolling in the Home Study course. You will receive the text and CD mentioned above plus the four sections of the open-book exam. The CERTIFIED AQUATIC DIRECTOR (CAD) course will be held in conjunction with the annual World Clinic of the American Swim Coaches Assn. The course will present information relating to the responsibilities and duties of the aquatic director. In addition, there will be bonus material relating to possible aquatic careers—owning a pool management company, owning a swim school in your own facility, or owning a retail swim shop. The discussions and materials will be based on the educational and business experience of Dr. Robert Clayton and his wife Joyce. |
